New Families
Etz Chaim is located 30 - 45 minutes from Manhattan by public transport, and boasts a wide variety of Jewish conveniences and institutions. These include several Jewish Day Schools, Kosher supermarkets and restaurants, a newly refurbished JCC and Mikvah, and an extensive Eruv. Affordable housing is within close walking distance.
Congregation Etz Chaim was founded mainly by the children of Holocaust survivors. Against all odds, these survivors kept the faith of our forefathers. Many survivors and their descendants rose to the top of their professions in diverse areas such as Real Estate, Finance, Medicine, Law and Entrepreneurship. The broader Jewish community has benefited greatly from the leadership and generosity of Etz Chaim membership.
Those families wishing to raise their children in a nurturing Jewish community, without noise, pollution and traffic jams, should join Etz Chaim for this life-improving opportunity.
