The Sisterhood of Etz Chaim is dedicated to building our Shul community by bringing women of all ages together for learning, socializing, fundraising, and recreation. Throughout the year we provide an assortment of educational, cultural, and social programs to foster friendships and enhance the unity in our Shul while exposing our members to new experiences.
In recent years we have an active book club as well as inspirational speakers, cooking demos, flower arranging, museum trips, and more – all in a relaxed, fun and casual environment.
Sisterhood also runs fundraising programs like the Mishloach Manot Basket and Rosh Hashanah Card to provide much needed funds for the synagogue and local organizations. We also have an ongoing fundraising project which welcome congregants to add their children’s and grandchildren’s names to a beautiful Tallit for the Kol Hanearim Aliyah used every Simchat Torah.
The Sisterhood is also an active participant in Chesed activities at the Shul and throughout Greater MetroWest, NJ.
